Chapter 5: Prince Charming

I Suddenly got the chills as I felt his lips on my skin.

"brr" I was embaressed by the noise I'd just made.

"Are you cold?" Nick asked. "Where's your jacket?"

"Oh, I forgot to bring it, but that's ok" I said as I rubbed my arms and looked down.

Suddenly I felt something warm on my shoulders. I looked up and saw that Nick had put his black coat on me. I started taking it off..

"Nick, you really don't have to, it's my fault for forgeting my jacket" I said.

Nick put the jacket back on me and smiled. "Don't be silly, you can wear it. I'm perfectly fine."

"Are you sure Nick?" I asked

"of course I am" He smiled. "besides, you look great in it, but then again you always look great."

We smiled at each other and hugged.

"C'mon, its late, I don't want to get you in trouble with your mom." He stood up then gave me his hand so I could stand up.

Ugh my mom...I had forgotten about her. I really hoped that she bought the whole hoodie thing. I owed Carly big time. Nick started going down the stairs and then it was my turn. I really hoped I wouldn't fall.

"Oh whoa" I said as I stumbled a little on the tree house stairs. Suddenly my foot slipped. "Awwww!" I screamed.

But before I hit the ground Nick caught me.

Nick laughed. "haha, that's the second time You've 'fallen' for me"

I laughed. "thanks for catching me Nick. I'm not the most coordinated person in the world."

Nick Smiled. "Don't worry I'll always be here to catch you" Then he gave me another kiss on the cheek.

It was quiet for a long time as we stood under the stars staring at each other. I couldn't help but wonder what was going through his mind as he stared at me with his gorgeous brown eyes. I really was beggining to fall hard for Nick.

*sigh* "I sadly should be getting home." I said as I looked down. "Thanks for everything Nick. Tonight was a night to remember." I took of his jacket and handed it to him, adn started walking.

"wait" he said running towards me. "where's your car?"

"Oh, I came walking" I said.

"well, you're not going home walking." Nick said. he put his jacket back on me and said "C'mon I'll give you a ride home."

I Smiled and sweetly said "thanks"

As I sat in his car, I put my head to my side and took a sniff at his jacket. It smelled like blossoms on a summer day, beautiful. I smiled.

"So where do you live?" Nick asked.

"Just around the corner. It's pretty close. I really could've just walked."

"Just enjoy the ride" He laughed. and so did I.

"here we are." Nick said as he pulled into my driveway. I put my hand on the door's car to open it but Nick quickly stopped me.

"Wait" He said.

Nick got out of the car, and came to my side and opened the door for me, like a true gentleman.

I smiled. "thanks" I said as I grabed his hand to get out of the car. Then he walked me to my porch, and we stood there staring at each other.

"Sally, I'm really glad I met you. Tonight has been amazing" Nick said.

"It was amazing. I'll never forget it." I said as I smiled at him.

Nick continued to stare deeply into my eyes. "here, I got something for you" He said as he pulled out a small gray box from his back pocket. "I went shopping with Kevin yesterday, and when I saw this, I thought of you.

I was speechless.

Nick opened up the little box, and inside it was a gold heart necklace. It shimmered in the moonlight. And on the heart, the word love was written.

I stared at it in amazement. It was gorgeous. "Nick, this is....absolutely amazing." I said as I pulled him into a big hug. My arms were locked around his neck and I closed my eyes. he was holding me around my waist and crushing me to his body. Then suddenly he lifted my feet of the ground, and spun me around.

Then he put me down and smiled at me. "Here, let me help you put it on" He said. I turned around so my back was facing him. Then he gently swept my hair to the side. then he put the necklace around my neck and clipped it in the back.

"I love it Nick" I said as I was staring at the necklace. "thank you so much"

"Yourwelcome" Nick politely said as he smiled.

I looked up from the necklace, and Nick's face was only inches away from mine. we stared into each other's eyes and just stood there.

"I've never felt this way about a girl before" Nick said

"And I've nver felt this way about a guy before. I've never even met a guy who's left me speechless..until now" I said as I smiled.

"I...I....I....really like you Sally." Nick said. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled the biggest I had ever smiled before. "of course Nick" I hugged him.

Nick laughed. "Your an amaing girl Sally" he said as we hugged. "I'll call you tommorow k?"

"Alright" I said smiling.

He gave me a kiss on the cheek, and went to his car. I watched him drive away, thinking of what just happened. All my dreams were coming true. I finally had my Prince Charming. I smiled as I held the necklace in my hand.

"What!? Are you serious!? You're kidding me right now!?" Debby screamed at me!

Debby was my other best friend. She lived jsut down the street, so we always hung out. She was a great friend, and always knew how to make me laugh.

I laughed. "I'm way serious Debby."

"I can't believe Nick Jonas is your boyfriend! And I can't believe he gave you this necklace! Your the luckiest girl on earth!" Debby said as she hugged me. She was such a great friend, she was always happy for me and gave me tons of hugs.

"Weirdly Debby....These last few days I've spent with Nick....I haven't really thought of him as a big celebrity. he was Just Nick. A normal guy who is amazing in every way" I said.

"Eeep! I'm so happy for you!" debby kept on babbling and screaming every few seconds, and I laughed every now and then. but all I could really think about was Nick. He was just a normal guy to me now. A sweet, and amazing normal guy.

After debby finally finished talking, I asked her "so, do you want to keep working on our songs?"

"Sure!" Debby said excitedly! Debby and I had been writing songs together for about a month now! it was our passion. I loved writing songs. It helped me explain my feelings in the best way possible.

*Ring, Ring, Ring* My phone started ringing, and it was playing Turn Right. it was Nick. I Smiled.

"it's Nick." I told Debby.

"Well, anwser it silly!" She laughed.

"hey" I said into the phone.

"Hi,how's it going?" Nick asked.

"pretty good, just writing songs, and thinking of a certain someone" I said as I smiled.

Nick laughed. "Do i know this certian someone?"

"Yea, I think you do. He's a close friend of yours." I laughed.

Nick snickered into the phone. "Well hopefully he doesn't take you away from me"

"Oh I don't think that will happen." I said as I laughed into the phone.

"So are you busy tonight?" Nick asked.

"Nope, how about you?" I said.

"Same, hmm it was ment to be" He laughed. "Wanna hang out tonight?"

"Sure" I said with a big smile on my face.

"Awesome, so I'll pick you up at your house at 5:30. You can have dinner with Joe, Kevin, and me."

"sounds great" More like super extra fantastic amazing I yelled inside my head!

"K, can't wait. cya" Nick said.

"bye."

"oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Debby yelled! apparently she was eaves dropping. "I can't believe your going over to his house!" you're going to have so much fun! You have to text me when you're there!"

I laughed. "Alright. Hm...I should be getting home. I gotta talk to ym mom about some stuff."

"K, cya buddy!" debby said.

"Cya!" I yelled back at her as I started walking home.

When I got home I found my mom in the kitcen cooking her famous chicken.

"hey mom" I said.

"Oh hey sweetie. Did you have fun at Debby's?" She asked.

"yea! We got started on some songs" I said as I smiled.

I went inisde the kitchen and started humming "Love Story" and dancing around.

"You seem awfully happy today!" My mom said.

"Well, who wouldn't be when you have the best boyfriend on Earth! A true prince Charming!" I said.

"Boyfriend!?!?" My mom asked.

Woops, I had forgotten she didn't know about Nick...

Chapter 4: First Date

"Deep breaths" I told myself as I stood outside The Golden Corall. "here I go."

I opened the door and found out that the whole restaurant was empty, and there were lights twinkling from the celing.

"May I show you to your seat?" A sweet voice asked me. It was Nick.

"Sure" I smiled. "Nick, this is amazing. I've never seen anything so beautiful in my life."

"I have" Nick said as he looked at me. "you"

I Smiled back, and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"Shall we eat madame?" Nick asked.

"haha you don't have to talk all fancy Nick, I like you for who you are."

I smiled at him. It was the first time I'd told him I liked him.

Nick led us to a table for 2 that had candles and lights.

"If I knew you would've done something so amazing, I would've dressed up nicer."
I started examining my clothes and thinking that I looked hideous.

"You look beautiful" Nick said as he smiled at me.

"So Nick, what do you like to do in your spare time?"

"What is this, a talk show?" He laughed. It was a beautiful laugh.

"Um..well I basically like to write songs. I love making something out of nothing. I just write my feelings down on paper, and it transforms into this beautiful thing. I love playing the piano, and making up new songs.the piano amazes me. It's so simple, but so amazing."

"Wow Nick" I smiled at him. "You're so passionate about your music. It's amazing. your not like other singers who swear and scream into their microphones. you actually sing from your heart. I like that."

I smiled at him, and he smiled back. His eyes staring right into mine. it seemed like nothing else existed but us.

"errm *cougg, cough*" it was the waiter.

"Sorry to interupt, but may I take your order?"

"Yes please." Nick said. He was so polite.

"I'll have a hamburger and fries with a diet coke" Nick said.

I looked a him with suspicious eyes, and he noticed.

"what is it?" he asked.

"it's just that I thought you would order some fancy french thing that i can't pronounce." I said.

He laughed. "haha nope. I love my junk food! what do you want? A Salad?"

"A salad, yea right" I laughed. "Ill have the same thing as him please" I told the waiter.

The waitor walked away, adn this time Nick was staring at me with suspicious eyes.

"You didn't want a salad?" Nick asked.

"No, I prefer meat to lettuce" I laughed. "is that ok?"

"is that ok?" Nick asked. "thats great! Most girls are watching their weight and only order water and a salad. Your not like the rest of the girls. You're...differant."

I looked down, suddenly sad that he was calling me differant.

"A good differant" Nick said as he grabbed both my hand under the table.

I looked up and he was smiling at me, and I couldn't help but return the smile.

The rest of the night felt like it flew by. We talked about everything. by the end of the night, we knew basically everything about each other.

"Haha, so Joe hit your hand with a drum stick during one of your concert?" I asked.

"yea, it was crazy!" he laughed. "but I kept going, I had to for the fans."

"you're a pretty amazing guy Nick"

"Well you're a pretty amazing girl Sally."

Suddenly my brain went into a complete negative mood. I started thinking about before, and how I was thinking that Ncik would never fall for someone like me. Nick saw the worry on my face.

"check please" Nick paid the waitor, and helped me stand up, and we walked outside.

"what's wrong Sally" Nick asked me.

"it's nothing important...."

"please tell me." nick smiled at me.

"C'mon, I want to show you something." he said.

Nick led me into a forest and up a hill. Suddenly a cute brown little tree house appeared.

"what is this?" I asked Nick.

"it's a treehouse I built with my dad when I was 8. he forgot about it, but I never did. I like coming here to think about things. C'mon, let me help you up"

He helped me up the stairs, and we both sad on the edge of the tree house staring at the sky.

"you know, your the first girl i've ever had up here" Nick said.

"really? Well, I'm honored." I smiled.

"So, will you tell me what was wrong now?" He asked me.

"Ok, but I'm kinda scared.."

"Dont worry" he said. "You can trust me"

I looked into his eyes, and I did trust him. I felt like I could tell him anything and everything.

"Well, I just, I don't know, I cant help but over think certain things..." I said.

"like what?" He looked confused.

"Why would someone as amazing as you ever fall for a girl like me? You proboably jsut asked me out tonight because you felt bad for me. I don't deserve someone as amazing as you Nick. You could do so much better than me. There's millions of girls who would gladly go out with you, so why would you choose me? There's not much that's special about me. I want you to be happy, so I think it'd be better if you found someone else. A girl who is actually amazing like you."

Tears started filling my eyes. and I stood up to leave.

"wait" Nick said as he grabbed my hand. "please don't leave"

He grabbed me and sat me on his lap. he started stroking my back,and he wiped away my tears with his hand.

"Please, don't ever say what you just did ever again. You are an amazing girl. I'm so lucky I found you. before I met you, I didn't know what being really happy ment. But now, I become happy everytime I see you. And I get butterflies in my stomach everytime you look at me. You're so much better than you think you are Sally. You are one of the most amazing girls I've ever met."

Another tear rolled donw my cheek, and I layed my head down on his shoulder. he put his arm around me and hugged me.

"Do you really mean it Nick?" I asked him. "Am I really amazing to you?"

"Of course you are, and I truly mean it. You are my sunshine." he smiled at me.

I looked up at the stars, and Nick looked at me.

"Would you mind if..." Nick asked me.

"If you what?.." I asked.

"If I were to give you a kiss on the cheek?"

I smiled and shook my head slowly.

Suddenly I felt his sweet, soft lips againt my cheek. And for that moment, all my other problems disapeared. Nick thought I was amazing. And that's all I needed to be happy for the rest of my life.

Chapter 3: Trying Times

"Are you sure you didn't just bump your head extra hard!?" Carly asked.

"That's what I thought at first also, but it was real." I smiled.

"Oh, well that's cool I guess..."

She didn't sound very excited for me. What was her problem?
"Okay then..I gotta go..cya"
I couldn't help but wonder what her problem was.

"Bye" She said.

Suddenly my phone started vibrating again.
"Ugh, what does she want now? Wiat who's number is this?..."

"Hey its Nick :) Just wanted to say I can't wait for tonight. Meet me at The Golden Corral at 7."

My heart skipped a beat.

"See ya there :)" I texted back.

It was barely 1:00 so I decided to go on the computer for a while.
Every page I went to, somehow always had The Jonas Brothers on it somewhere. I couldn't help but start over thinking things...

"What am I thinking? Like Nick Jonas would ever fall for me. I bet he just felt bad for me, and that's why he asked me out. I must be crazy to think that someone as amazing as him would ever ask me out. Wow, now I'm even talking to myself. I really am crazy..."

"hey sweetie, how are you?" My mom asked. Mom was almost never home anymore since the divorce with her and my dad.

"I'm fine...why are you home so early?"

"oh well, that's what i was just about to explain to you. I lost my job...I don't know how we're going to get through this trial in our life. But I know that with your support, I'll be strong enough to survive these hard times that are coming."

"wow mom..I'm really sorry." I quickly hugged her. "Whatever I can do to help, Just tell me."

"Well, im felling kind of blue, do you think maybe tonight we could have a girls night, and just hang out like friends?"

"Of course mom, anything for you"

"Thanks sweetie. I love you. I'm going to go take a shower and relax for a while."

"Ok, I'll try to keep it down."

I knew what I had to do that very moment. Text Carly. Even though she was acting funky, she was my best friend, and I told her everything.

"My mom lost her job :("

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope evrything works out :) and, about before, I'm sorry if I sounded like I wasn't happy for you. I guess I was just kind of...jealous. But that was very wrong, and I won't do it again. ILY girly!"

"Aww thanks! I luv u 2! ure my best friend! I better go freshen up for my date with Nick tonight :)...oh no...oh no no no no no...this cant be happening"

"what is it!?!?!"

"I prommised my mom we would have a girls night tonight, just us, to help her get over her sadness for just loosing her job! This can't be happening!"

"uh oh. Sounds like you got yourself in a big problem buddy! Hmm...I wonder..."

"what!? what do you wonder!?"

"It's kind of mean, but I could pretend to be you tonight with your mom so that you could go out with Nick"

"What!? are u crazy!? we look nothing alike!!! Oh...lightbulb! I could ask her if tonight we could go to the movies.."

"and I could wear a hoodie and cover myself the whole time! Brilliant!"

"are you sure you want to do this for me???"

"of course! I'd do anything for you!"

"aww, thank you so much! you're the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for!"

"I know right! haha jk! K go get beautiful for your date tonight! which won't be to hard for you :)"

"youre so sweet! I love you! cya! :D"

Carly was such an amazing best friend!!! and she was so sweet!

"but ughh..." I started talking to myself again. "I feel kind of bad, I feel like I'm choosing Nick over my own Mom..."

Suddenly my phone vibrated again. it was Nick.

"I can't stop thinking about you. Can't wait for tonight :)"

"You're so sweet. see you later. :)" I texted back.

And it was true! Nick really was the sweetest guy I've ever met! And I had just barely met him yesterday, but it seemed like I'd known him forever.

"Hey man, listen we gotta talk.." Joe said

"K, shoot"

"I think it's possible that you're moving way to fast with this Sally girl. I mean, you just barely met her yesterday. and you're already going out on your first date!"

"Your right, but not about me moving to fast. I know I just met her yesterday. But i felt something bro.Like little fireworks going off in my stomach."

Joe burst out laughing.

"Forget it man, you never take anything seriously" and I walked away.

As I sat on the porch, I started thinking of Joe's words.

"What if I am moving too quickly? What if we don't become anything more than just friends?"

"hey.." Kevin said as he came and sat down next to me on the porch.

"Listen, if you're going to bring me down like Joe did, please just leave right now"

"nah bro. I'm here to cheer you up. I know joe can't take things seriously some times. So listen, I heard when you guys were talking...And I heard what you said just now about what if you're moving to fast. Some people, just don't understand love yet. But I'm on your side. I know what you feel. Remember the first day I met Danielle? We were at a McDonalds! But the second I saw her, I knew she was the one. My hearts started racing, and I got butterflies in my stomach. And now look where we are. Tommorow is our 4 month anniversary. We've come a long way. So I really don't think you're moving to fast man. Just follow your heart, and do what you think is right."

"Wow man, you can sure give a good speach! ha..but thanks, I really appreciate it. You're a great brother." I man hugged him.

"And I'm the hottest brother! ha!" Kevin said.

"Just make sure Joe doesn't hear you say that ha!"

"K, well I believe that it's time for you to go get ready! You gotta meet Sally in one hour."

"k, thanks man, for everything."

"That's what brothers are for" Kevin smiled.

(Back home with Sally)

"hey mom! Would it be alright if we went to go see a movie tonight?"

"yea of course! sounds like great fun!"

"ermm *Cough* oh whoa..I think I;m coming donw with something"

"Are you okay? we could skip teh movie tonight" She said sadly.

"no, it's fine mom, I'll jsut wear my big baggy hoodie and keep the hood on so other people don't get sick around me"

Alright sweetie. We'll leave at 7, so in 30 minutes."

"whoa! I better go get ready! cya mom!"

I flew straight to my closet and started looking for the cutest outift I could possibly find. Suddenly, I started thinking about before. How I was asking myself if Nick would ever truly fall for me. A girl simplee, plain, and not very popular.

"well, I guess tonight we will find out if anything could ever happen between us..."
I whispered to myself quietly. "sheesh, I really gotta stop talking to myself!"

"I literally have like nothing to wear! He will proboably be in his suit from New York and Hollister perfume!"

"Oh well, I'll just wear what I have. Besides, If he doesn't like me for who I am, it will never work out."

I put on my Skinny jeans from and a baby blue T-shirt from Ross.

*Knock Knock*

Someone was knocing at my window!

"Carly! You scared me to death! here come in!"

I pulled her in quietly so my mom wouldn't notice.

"Wow, you look great Sally!"

"thanks, I just kind of put it on ha. ok here's my Disneyland hoodie. Keep the hood on at all times. and try to keep your head down."

"what if it gets hot and I want to take it off haha"

"what!?!?!?! no no no that can't happen!"

"haha I was just messing with you"

"PLease don't, im under enough pressure as it is"

"you'll be fine Sally, I promise. Nick would have to be a fool to not fall for your personality and gorgeous brown eyes"

I smiled. "thanks. You're a great friend. I should get going."

"How are you going to get there?" Carly asked.

"it's just around the corner, I'll walk. See you later!"

"bye!" she whispered as soon as I was out the window.

As I walked down the dark street I stared at a shining star. It shined far more bright than any other star in the sky. I Closed my eyes, and wished that tonight would be a great night.

Chapter 2: Fly With Me

"Whoa"
I said as I wiped my eyes.
"I just had the craziest dream ever. Like I'd actually ever really bump into.."

"Bump into who?" Nick asked.

"Wow, I must have hit my head really hard...This is impossible.
I started looking at my surroundings. I was in a huge, beautiful house. there were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. and there were guitars everywhere.

"Is this really happening?" I asked.
I went over to the guitars that said Kevin Jonas 2nd on them. I touched them very slowly. carefully so that they wouldn't vanish, since after all this was a dream wasnt it?

Nick watched me very carefully, with worry in his eyes as I touched everything around me.

"Um, so what's your name?" Nick asked.

"Sally."
This was enough, this dream was getting out of hand. I had to do something quick.
"Ouch" I pinched myself, and actually felt it.

Nick laughed a cute akward laugh and grabbed my hand.
"C'mon, lets get you some water."

So this wasn't a dream I told myself as I gulped down some water. This was actually happening. I'm actually here In the Jonas Brothers's house, and I'm making a fool of myself in front of Nick.

I put the glass down and found Nick starng right at me smiling. I wonder what he was thinking.

"So do you..uh..i mean can you..I mean if you'd like to.." Nick stammered.

"What is it Nick?" I asked.

"Would you like to do this again?.. But without the fainting ha.." he laughed nervously.

I couldn't believe my ears.
"Ha, yea that'd be great!"

"Great!" Nick said as as a huge smile spread across his face. "It's a date."

A Date?? I said in my head. Date. Nick. Me. The words just didn't fit. But suddenly they formed together inside my head. All of this really was happening. I did touch Kevins guitar. Nick did cath me when I fell. I did make a fool of myself in front of Nick. And I am going on a date tommorow with him. Life was perfect!

"It's a date" I smiled.

"So where would you like to.." Nick was cut of by Joe coming in.

"Hey Hey Hey Mr. President! How's it goi..."
Joe looked at me.
"Who's this?" He smiled at Nick.

"This is Sally" Nick said. He seemed frustrated Joe ruined our conversation.

The way he said my name, made a huge smile spread across my face.

"Oh, that's cool. Hey Sally!"
Joe came over and hugged me. They were all such gentleman.

"emm emm" Nick cleared his throat. "I think you can stop now Joe"

joe laughed. "Chill man, I'm gonna go watch some Baseball. Go Roadogs! You two crazy kids be safe!"

Nick gave him a "go away" look. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Ha, sorry bout that. Joe's a little crazy sometimes." Nick said.

"It's fine" I smiled, and we locked eyes. I got nervous so quickly looked away. "Soo..where's Kevin?"

"Oh, he's out with Danielle. Meaning he won't be back for a long time."

"It's really great that he found a girl that's so amazing. He's a lucky guy."

"So am I" Nick said as he stared at me.

I Smiled, and stood up to hug him. But before I finished standing up, he had already swept me off my feet.

"Whoa" I laughed!

The hug felt so right. Him lifting me up just barely so my feet weren't touching the ground. And my arms around his neck. The way we fit together, was just, right.♥

Chapter One: Paranoid

"But mom, just listen to me, you don't understand! This is all I've ever wanted!"
I said as I stomped my foot on the ground.

"It is just to much money Sally, and we don't have very much money right now. You will have another chance to see the Jonas Brothers in concert."

"It's just not fair! All I need to complete my life is to see them in concert!"

"It's a final NO!"

I ran to my room and cried my eyes out. Why couldn't my mom understand how much this ment to me. I saved up all my money just to see them in concert, but it wasn't enough. My mom just didn't understand that the Jonas Brothers are what I live for, they're my life, and I love them! But she wouldn't even listen to me! I had to text my best friend...

"She said its a final no! ugh Carly I hate this. I wanted to see them so bad. I can'st stop crying :("

"yea I wanted to see them really badly also. My mom said no also. They just don't get it. They don't understand us!"

"I know... but one day we will go to their concert. I promise. :) let's just try to be Mrs. Positives"

"good plan :) talk to ya later!"

"Cya :D"

Carly was a really good friend. She was more than just a friend, she was my best friend. She loved the Jonas brothers as well, and our dream was to see them in concert. That's all we've ever wanted. But it obviously was not going to happen anytime soon.

"Mom i'm going to go take a walk" I yelled as i slammed the door behind me.

I loved walking, it helped me clear my head and think about everything. I loved watching the trees sway back and forth, and I loved feeling the wind in my hair. As I walked, I held my Nick Jonas diabetes necklace that I had bought off the computer. I read the words that the dog tag said over and over, "A Little Bit Longer and I'll be fine" A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Will I ever be fine?" I asked myslef. "Will I ever be happy?"

Suddenly I bumped into someone.

"Oh, excuse me I said as I quickly wiped away my tears"

"Are you okay?" A sweet voice asked me.

I looked up, and couldn't believe my eyes...

"Nnnniiickk Jjoonnaas????" I stammered.

This couldn't be happening. I must have tripped and hit my head on a rock. I had lived in California for many years now, but I had never actually seen a celebrity. This just wasn't possible..
